Bring and Fly 2007
28th. 29th. 30th. September

Thanks to all who came to fly, to view and to help. The weather was good for us again although the wind direction was not suitable for our best sites.

All who came enjoyed the flying and the buffet and many hope to return next year.

The main reason for having the event is to let you enjoy our flying sites and to let us enjoy your models and company.

We also use the flying display to promote our activities with the local community.

If you come to fly before the weekend please contact us so that we may know which slopes are in use during the week.

Last year we introduced the requirement that all display pilots at the power field should have “B” certificates. This caused a few problems and we were asked by several visitors to review the requirement. Also other clubs with displays similar to ours have adopted a slightly more relaxed approach to the flying requirements.

So ideally this year a display pilot will have a “B” certificate. If not and their flying is up to an acceptable standard pilots will be allowed to fly but they must be accompanied by a flyer who has a “B” certificate.

On the day the decision about who may fly will be made by the Flight Director.

Last year on the slopes the number of flyers was less than in previous years. This made the management of the slope flying easier and more enjoyable for the flyers.

If you want to fly on the slopes this year you will need a Lleyn name tag.

To keep the flyers to a controllable number we will limit the issue of name tags to about 50 per day.

To avoid disappointment either pre-order one from

secretary@lleynmac.co.uk

or check before leaving home that some are still available.

Information on road works and accommodation may be found through the sites on our Links page.

Insurance

We are affiliated to the BMFA and all visiting flyers must have BMFA recognised insurance.

Access

Please use car parks on N.T. land..

Be aware of gate locking times at Cim Farm

Most of our flying sites are on private farmland with crops and livestock.

Please follow the Country Code at all times.
